During our stay at Ashburn House, we decided to treat ourselves to a culinary adventure at the Lime Tree restaurant, which came highly recommended by the proprietors, Hayley & Trev. the restaurant's intimate ambiance and open kitchen added an element of excitement to our dining experience. We were pleased to find individual tables overlooking Loch Linnhe, creating a serene backdrop for our meal. the constantly changing menu showcased the best local catches of the day, staying true to the food philosophy of using locally sourced seasonal ingredients. For breakfast, we opted for the grab and go option, which included a variety of pre-packaged items like breakfast bars, pastries, fruit. the quality and freshness of the food were evident in every bite, making it one of the best breakfasts we had during our visit to Scotland. It's definitely a must-visit spot for any food enthusiast in Fort William.
